The Social Security Fund administration decided to pay employees’ salaries and retirees’ pensions for the months of June and July before Eid al-Adha, while suspending the deduction of advance installments for the two months.
The Social Security Fund’s media office said that the Chairman of the Fund’s Board of Directors, “Idris Ahfidah,” issued a letter to the directors of the relevant departments and the directors of the Fund’s branches to disburse a maximum of 1,000 dinars in advance on the new security pensions and the released pensions.
The letter indicated that the advance is disbursed after ensuring that the eligibility conditions are met, as assistance to new pensioners from their pensions that are under the process of linking to the system, or from their pensions released under the procedures.
The Fund’s management also confirmed that financial measures were taken to provide relief on the occasion of Eid for those entitled to pensions and the Fund’s employees. Pointing out that these measures come in the face of living difficulties resulting from high prices and the high cost of living.
