The Ministry of Finance is responsible for developing and implementing plans and programs for financial policies in accordance with applicable legislation. It is also responsible for managing state funds, preparing the general budget, determining its financing resources, how to collect and spend them, how to dispose of them, following up on their implementation and reviewing them, and preparing their final accounts.
Tripoli, September 24, 2023 AD (LANA) – The Ministry of Finance of the Government of National Unity announced the transfer of the salaries of the current month of September to the Central Bank of Libya to complete the procedures for liquidating them into the accounts of public agencies.
The Ministry of Finance said on its official page that today, Sunday, it handed over permissions to disburse September salaries to all entities funded by the public treasury to the Banking Operations Department at the Central Bank of Libya to complete the followed disbursement procedures.
