The joint meeting held yesterday between the Prime Minister’s Office and the Ministry of Health culminated in the implementation of the unified salary schedule for the rest of the health sector entities in the month of February, and the release of the salaries of health sector workers that have been in default for more than 7 years before the month of Ramadan, in addition to referring… Decisions to settle the status of medical and paramedical personnel complaining about the implementation of the unified salary schedule are submitted to the Ministry of Finance to implement the decision according to job grades.
The Ministry of Health added on its Facebook page that the meeting, which came based on instructions from the Prime Minister, also concluded with canceling the recent transfer decisions from health services departments in the regions to hospitals for categories (vaccinated, oncology patients, and those about to retire) and returning them to their previous jobs, in addition to addressing the conditions. Entities complaining about the non-disbursement of their financial rewards during their work during the Corona pandemic, and the approval of job positions for all workers in the sector.
It is noteworthy that the meeting was held in the Cabinet Office, in the presence of the Minister of State for Cabinet Affairs, Adel Gomaa, the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Health for Technical Affairs and the Diwan, Mr. Samir Koko, the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Health for Hospital Affairs, Mr. Saad El-Din Abdel Wakil, the directors of departments in the Ministry, and the President of the Allied Medical Professions Syndicate. And the head of the Administrative Professions Union in the health sector, and a number of members of the two unions.
During the meeting, the Undersecretaries of the Ministry of Health provided clarifications about the measures taken by the Ministry regarding regularizing the status of its employees, implementing the unified salary scale, and financial releases, in coordination with the Ministries of Civil Service and Finance.
